I’ll admit it… I do spend time looking through wedding websites even though I’m already married, and often I find my head turned by interesting bridal shops while out and about. I guess my excuse is as a photographer I have a distinct interest in the aesthetics of the day… sometimes a slightly obsessive interest, but hey that’s ok!

Many a time I’ve gone past ‘Frocks’ on Broadway and found myself gazing in their window. Their offerings for bridesmaids are chic, elegant and stylish…. and I just love the colours! Although their main focus appears to be bridesmaids, they do also offer a selection of wedding gowns as well!
Wed Boutique
Located on Main St, Wed Boutique has caught my eye several times as a wedding boutique aimed towards today’s modern bride. Their whole feel is very couture and I love that! There’s more than one dress in their web gallery that caused my jaw to drop….

Era Design
I love modern and I love vintage….and I especially love the latter when it comes to jewelry! I’m currently on the hunt for a new wedding ring myself (my old one came to an unfortunate end) and while searching the internet I came across Era design. I love all the vintage styled options they offer and may just be contacting them myself soon!

Etsy is an online community of hand crafters selling their wares in one spot. I recently discovered that they have a whole section dedicated to weddings… there’s some truly unique and lovely items to be had! Go ahead and have a dig through, even if it’s to get ideas for your own wedding diy project!

Greenvites
Stylish and environmentally friendly custom wedding invites… what’s not to love? They’ll even provide you with a box to collect any used stationary from your wedding to be shipped back and recycled into new stationary… and they’ll send you some of it as a token of their appreciation!
