Paris Workshop

Welcome to just the first of several postings on Paris! This post will be all about the workshop I attended itself as it deserves a post all it’s own…

To say Scott Robert’s workshop was life changing would be very apt… in a few short days I experienced and shot so many many wonderful moments I’m only just getting a chance to review it all in my mind. I made wonderful friends, discussed both deep and hilarious topics (often in the same breath), got very little sleep due mostly to how much he packed into each day and basically had the time of my life! Scott’s passion for photography and life is evident in every moment you spend with him… he gives his all at these workshops and only lets himself rest when the very last question of the day has been answered. There’s no holding back with him…

I know I’m not just speaking for myself when I say this workshop really did push us to excel and take that step into the next level. I’ve come away with some amazing insights and more of a vision of where I would like my work to take me next. I fully expect some amazing changes from myself in the coming months as my work grows and matures with this new insight.

Here’s a taste of what I did this last week… I’m still amazed it’s all over! As a side note, while this was a workshop environment all photos you see posted here are specifically posed and lit by myself.

Let me just say, I actually whittled down what I wanted to share by quite a bit… that’s just how many great moments there were! To Scott and all the workshop attendees I just want to say it was truly a pleasure to be with you in Paris… something I hope we can all repeat at another exciting location in the future. Hmm… ‘Scott Robert Spain’ anyone? No wait, ‘Scott Robert Brasil’… ohhh yeah…
