Double Praise Tuesday!

As if I wasn’t already feeling like I have the best clients in the world, I just checked the mail and found this waiting for me:

Erin and Scott…  you have no idea how much this card means to me! Your words are so thoughtful and wonderful, and to know that I made such an amazing contribution to your wedding day fills my heart up to near bursting. :)

Thank you for being so lovely and sending me one of your thank you cards! People are going to think I’m crazy when I go out later because I’ll be smiling like a complete lunatic from all this client love! LOL!

Morning Praise

I woke up this morning to find a wonderful email from Maria and Gord about their engagement session teasers:

Hi Amber!

WOW! That’s all we can really say right now as you have left us SPEECHLESS! The pictures are amazing and we can’t believe how good we look! LOL

Thank you again for a great session and for capturing such perfect moments. You have an incredible eye and we looking are forward to have some more fun on December 23rd.

Maria and Gord’s Engagement Session

I met with Maria and Gord recently to shoot a wonderful two part engagement session. We started off the day at Burnaby’s Deer Lake where fall was definitely in full bloom!

From there we took the party into town for some moodier shots around Granville Island. The light was fading and we only had about 30 mins left ‘on the clock’, yet somehow we managed to get some real knock outs of these two!

Big Changes Ahead!

Traveling to Paris last month changed a lot of things for me… and in turn has caused a LOT of soul searching to happen, both about my personal and professional lives. There’s some big changes ahead for me and you’ll all get to see what I’ve been working on very soon!

Welcome Claire!

I was second shooting at a wedding in August where I met the sweetest couple who were expecting their first little one. We got to chatting and they ended up taking my card so I could shoot their newborn photos.

Well, the weeks passed and I was contacted by Eugene and Irene to let me know some very exciting news! Their beautiful baby girl had arrived and she was ready for her first photo session! I was honored to say the least and very touched by how welcoming they were of me into their home. Even though they had been up in the middle of the night they were very sweet and patient as I wrapped their little girl in all kinds of material and posed her just about everywhere. If you can believe it Eugene and Irene, I could have kept coming up with shots all day in your apartment… it was just so stylish in there!

It was such a pleasure to meet and photograph your little sweetheart Eugene and Irene…. I’m so pleased we happened to be assigned the same table at the wedding! :)
