A couple weeks ago Christine at Wholly Matrimony put out a call for photos of coloured wedding shoes. Well, did I have the shoes for her!
I was thrilled when she wrote back to not only let me know she loved Adrian’s beautiful Manolo’s, but that she loved the entire wedding… and wanted to feature them!
Click the photo below to read her wonderful post:
Thanks again for the feature Christine!

Jesse waited on the boardwalk… the rain coming down in random drops all around him. As he stood alone with his thoughts his beautiful bride was approaching behind him. Today was the day they would marry… and in a moment he was going to see his wife for the first time on that special day.

Loved Shannon’s dress!

The ladies help Shannon into her dress

Shannon’s beautiful jewelry. The locket contains her great grandparents, which she carried with her bouquet all day.

Shannon and this wall had a serious thing going!

Shannon’s other shoes… I loved them!

Meanwhile, my second Kristel was with the boys grabbing these awesome shots!

Shannon and Jesse chose to do a reveal before the ceremony… it was my first time and I loved it!

The other angle from Kristel…

Portraits IN Emily Car? Yes please!

Loved the architecture in there!

The hotness!

This bouquet was just gorgeous!

I love it when times stands still…

Ceremony time at the Pacific Palisades!

The reception was held at Coal Harbour Community Center…. loved their pink and green colour scheme!

I never get tired of cupcakes… especially the miniature variety!

SO many cute kiddos at their reception!

We snuck out for some secret portraits…

I *love* these shots of Shannon!

First dances always make my heart squeeze…

Shannon and Jesse – Looking back on your wedding day, I hardly even remember that it was raining! The warmth you have for each other made it just as sunny a day as any other this summer… thank you for choosing me to capture it for you!

The sun beamed into the small room just off of the church’s lobby. Leng sat beautiful and radiant… smiling as the final preparations were made. Moments from now she would walk down the aisle… and Alex would be waiting there for her.
Today, on a beautiful afternoon in late August, Leng and Alex were to be married amongst the love of their friends and family.

Wow…. I was stunned when I saw Leng! Could she be any more gorgeous?

Ceremony time!

Off to SFU for some portraits… I LOVE how dramatic the architecture is!

*love* this shot of the boys from my second shooter Laura!

Leng looking amazing as usual…
I wish I could roll this wall up and take it with me everywhere! *sigh*

This shot makes me feel swept away in the moment too…

Laura grabbed this shot of the girls while I was shooting Leng and Alex… I adore it!
The reception was held at the Vancouver Golf Club… loved the beautiful yellow lily centerpieces and fantastic sweeping ceilings!

They had a variety of beautiful pasteries by Sweet Art Bakery

I love tea ceremonies… so many details and moments.

We had a little extra time… so what’s better than more portraits?

Ringtastic!

Leng and Alex… it was a beautiful day! Your love and passion for each other has been wonderful to document and share with you… thank you for choosing me to be there throughout it all!
