The piano started up and the piercing operatic strains of ‘Ave Maria’ echoed through St. Augustine’s church. To anyone sitting nearby the intensity of the beautiful singing was felt as well as heard… an emotional precursor to the moment they had all been waiting for.
As the song finished and the pianist moved into ‘All you need is love’ a hush came over the crowd. The ceremony had begun… and in a moment they would watch Adrian and Dino become husband and wife.
* * * *

Have I ever mentioned how amazing your eyes are Adrian? I must have… but here it is again… you have amazing eyes!

I *love* Adrian’s dress! It has pockets… how cool is that!?

Dear Manolo Blahnik… thank you for making the day so much bluer! Also, I apologize for the gratuitous shoe times.. I just couldn’t help myself!

Hee hee

Going to the Chapel and we’re going to get marrrrrieeeddd! We had a little impromptu dance party on our way to the ceremony..

My second shooter Laura got these shots of Dino getting ready.

Ave Maria always gives me goosebumps… this time was no exception!

I love it when churches have balconies… here is Adrian entering from Laura’s view….

… and my view.

St. Augustine’s is stunning

I love the way people look as they say their vows… sigh

Yay! Mr and Mrs!!

Love this shot from Laura!

A little portrait time in Van Dusen

Detail time…

Flowers and decor by Michelle of Petals and Papery… she was fantastic!

The reception was held at the Law Courts downtown. I’ve never attended a function there before and I was amazed by how beautiful the room was!

At the end of the night, Adrian and Dino did an amazing surprise salsa dance (co-ordinated by Clear the Floor) for their first trip around the dance floor as man and wife. I loved every moment of it!

Adrian and Dino… I’ve had so much fun getting to know both of you over the passing months! I’ll always remember the non stop laughter, the limo-bus dance parties and of course that last dance… thank you for choosing me to share it all with!
