Hi everyone! Well, no doubt you’ve noticed my blog hasn’t been updated nearly as often as one might expect – I’ve been a bad bad blogger, but with good reason.
The last two months have been the busiest of my entire career and in between shooting and delivering final images I haven’t found a lot of time left over!

Well, I give you my solemn pledge to turn that around and start the blog machine back up. Cross my heart!

Shanaz + Nick | London Engagement

Fresh off the plane from Canada I met up with Shanaz and Nick to shoot their engagement session in the streets of London. I’ll never forget meeting them for the first time – Shanaz was all smiles and Nick was immediately showing off his quick wit keeping both Bryn and I laughing. As we walked through town I was amazed at how much they both knew about their beautiful city and even more so how incredibly open and relaxed they were with two complete strangers.

We started out at Westminster Abbey – I would KILL to have a location like this in Vancouver!

I recently spent an afternoon with Jessica and Corey exploring Granville Island – about half way through the rain started and we ducked into the market for a few shots. What a lovely afternoon!

Vivian and Doug threw down the guantlet for me with their engagement session – they wanted me to brainstorm a location I’ve always wanted to shoot but never had the chance to and we’d try something completely new and different. Am I ever glad they did! The result was SO much fun to shoot

Kendra + Jon | Engagement Session

Vancouver was it’s usual unpredictable self the day Kendra, Jon and I were set to get together for their engagement session – rain one minute, partly cloudy the next. It didn’t seem to bother either of them though… as you can see their love brought more than enough warmth and light to the day!

I recently got together with Jasmine and Jason for their spring time engagement session – little did we know it was going to be an epic rainstorm adventure! There was a moment there where we were all huddled under umbrellas while hail pounded down around us that we wondered if this was really a good day to shoot. Heheh

Well, I’m glad we did persist because we got some lovely images!

Vivian + Johnny | Engagement Session

I met with Vivian and Johnny the other weekend to photograph their engagement session – at their old highschool!! Having dated since then it seemed like the natural place to come celebrate the next chapter in their lives.
