I can’t even begin to tell you what an honour it was to photograph little Olive recently. Aside from the fact that she’s incredibly sweet, she’s also the daughter of someone I’ve known since I was about 2 years old. I spent countless days playing ninja turtles with her and her brother (I always wanted to be Michelangelo)
and arranging sleepovers so we could play mario brothers in the morning.

They moved away when I was about 9 and I remember being absolutely devastated – it wasn’t until much more recently we reconnected on Facebook and I’m so glad we did! I’ve seen her and her brother become parents, shared a wedding with them and had a life changing experience on their behalf.

So, after that novel of a build up… here’s little Olive! She’s an absolute sweetheart.

Saajan | Newborn

When I shot Simi and Khushhal’s maternity session last month, we really had no idea what kind of surprise was waiting just around the corner! Born four weeks early, Saajan decided to make her appearance on the scene a surprise to everyone… and managed to be born just minutes before her Simi’s birthday. Just had to have her own day I guess!

Here’s just a few of my favorites…

I’m pretty sure Saajan has the longest eyelashes I’ve ever seen on a baby!

This is the blanket Simi was brought home from the hospital in. The specialness of this photo makes my heart squeeze every time!

Simi and Khushhal… thank you so much for sharing this wonderful time in your life with me! I feel so honoured to have been there for the last part of your pregnancy and to have met little Saajan so early in her life. It was truly a pleasure!

Noah | Newborn

Last week I got to photograph this little sweet heart… he was soooo good to me! Between little baby sighs, teeny toes and the tiniest sneeze I completely fell in love! Well, here he is for you to fall in love with too… I present to the world, Noah:

Welcome Claire!

I was second shooting at a wedding in August where I met the sweetest couple who were expecting their first little one. We got to chatting and they ended up taking my card so I could shoot their newborn photos.

Well, the weeks passed and I was contacted by Eugene and Irene to let me know some very exciting news! Their beautiful baby girl had arrived and she was ready for her first photo session! I was honored to say the least and very touched by how welcoming they were of me into their home. Even though they had been up in the middle of the night they were very sweet and patient as I wrapped their little girl in all kinds of material and posed her just about everywhere. If you can believe it Eugene and Irene, I could have kept coming up with shots all day in your apartment… it was just so stylish in there!
